Creative Success

Gail McMeekin

Gail McMeekin, L.I.C.S.W., M.S.W.

Did you know that a recent study of IBM Executives cited creativity as the #1 leadership skill required for the 21st Century? Yet, so many professionals have disowned or discounted their creative potential for years. We all have the software to be creative though it may be rusty or traumatized by overly critical teachers, family, or bosses. Creativity is not just for writers and artists, it is an essential ingredient for YOU and your success and happiness!

Creativity is about making new connections and coming up with something unique and useful. It is driven by a passion for answers and a quest for new paradigms. We are living in a time of speedy changes and lots of new options for innovation. How would your life change if you valued your ideas and took them to the next level? Do you have a product that you want to invent, a book/documentary burning inside of you, or a new business service to launch?

All of these are creative challenges and I have spent the past 30 years studying creative success, writing books about it, and coaching clients into lives of creations and prosperity. Nothing excites me more than to help clients tap into their creativity, choose their best ideas, overcome their fears and roadblocks, and triumph with completion and joy! My own Ideaphoria (yes, that can be measured and I am in the 99th percentile) provides a powerful catalyst for taking your original idea and helping it to blossom into more than you ever imagined and ensuring that you complete it and share it!

My own creative renaissance unfolded decades ago when I started painting, writing, and studying the lives of creative men and women. I was outraged that there were not positive, viable role models for modern-day, sane, creative women, so I wrote my first book, The 12 Secrets of Highly Creative Women: A Portable Mentor (Conari Press), which sold out its first printing in 8 weeks.  Conari Press then published my second book, The Power of Positive Choices: Adding and Subtracting Your Way to a Great Life, which is my own stress mastery formula that gets you to choose one of three options to transform your stressors. I have also published 2 e-books: The Path to Creative Success and Boost Your Creativity, Productivity, and Profits in 21 Steps, plus the Creativity Courage Cards, with my photographer husband, which were featured in Artist Magazine. We also developed a Guide for the Huffington Post GPS for your Soul app. My newest books from Conari/RedwheelWeiser are: The 12 Secrets of Highly Successful Women: A Portable Mentor for Creative Women and The 12 Secrets of Highly Creative Women Journal.

My signature program “Manifest Your GEM of an Idea” is available as a 7 Day Opt-in which leads into a powerful group experience of manifestation where participants rave about the results and joy of getting their creative work out into the world and monetized.

I have a B.A. from Connecticut College, an M.S.W. from Boston University, a certificate in Human Resource Management from Bentley College, extensive life training at the Coaches Training Institute, and recently got certified in Scientific Hand Analysis, so I can help you to discover and leverage your Life Purpose and your Gifts once and for all!

My Life Purpose is Coach/Mentor with Heart complete with strong strategic, intuitive and creative gifts. So bring me your ideas—all of them—and let’s make some magic together! Your creative time is NOW!
